If I would write about all places you will never believe . I am proud of me but also I have passed case that I should learn few more languages if I ever decide go on such expedition.
I will begin from Makarska ...
Makarska is a unique city located in the exact geographical center of Dalmatia, where the cultural and archtectural heritage from ancient times to the present radiates with equal strenght like an architectural and stylistic mirror of beauty and proportion, interwoven with an unmatched harmony of mountains, coastline and sea.
The one of Croatian man told me that Makarska is a lovely place if you come once, you will come again.... We will see in the future...
The true is that Makarska is like a fairy tale that will tell itself to everybody. That place has a friendly voice which will whisper to you of beaches, pine groves, the sea, nature parks, the city, its heritage, scents and tastes.
Makarska is a city ready to satisfy even the most selective I agree whit that. The doors of the Makarska hotels and private apartaments are open for everyone. I have decided to choose with friends small private apattment for 70 euro per night. We slept under thread of mountain and in the morrning we sipped coffee on balkonies with view on sea. We had two chambers, kitchen and bathroom for four people so we paid 17,5€ per person it's near 12,5 pounds per night.The food and drinks aren't most cheap but it depends on wages : coffee 1€, bread 1€, butter 1,5€, fish dishes with bread 42,5 €, whole chicken 35€, good cookies 2€, ice cream(one scoop)0,7€,large pizza ( bigger than in UK and Poland )8.5€... Fruits, vegetables and red meat are more expensive than in Poland but cheaper than in UK so everyone from UK, GB, Italy, Germany will enjoy that place.
What was important for me.... Makarska is the urban backdrop for its museums, the setting for exhibits, performances, concerts, and gatherings of artists from throughout the world. Every evenings here comedy flirts with drama, painting with the lengthy heritage, and music with the traditional Dalmatian polyphony. Makarska is also a place where you can check your body and your soul: extreme sports and Biokovo.
